Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

This site can be used without creating an account. We collect the following.

• Usage data — through Google Analytics 4 we collect the pages you visit, referring URL, time on page, device and browser information, and approximate location at the country or city level. We do not collect directly identifying information such as your name or email address.
• Access logs — Cloudflare, our hosting and CDN provider, processes access records including IP addresses for service operation and security (incident response, blocking abusive traffic).
• Test responses — whether a test stores your answers is fixed in advance. For a test that does not persist data, your answers are sent to our server to compute a result and exist in memory only while that request is handled; they are never written to a database, log, or trace. A test that stores data keeps its answers and report on our servers under the notice and retention policy shown before it starts, and uses a hashed reference rather than a direct identifier. Its report is reachable through an unguessable individual link and, if you later sign in, is linked to that account once and permanently.
• Inquiry content — if you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message only as needed to reply.
• Cookies and similar technologies — cookies may be used for analytics and advertising. See section 4 for details.

2. How we use it

• Providing the service — producing test results, displaying content, applying your language preference
• Improving the service — understanding which content is read so we can improve direction and usability
• Security and operations — responding to incidents and blocking abuse or abnormal traffic
• Advertising — where ads are served, delivering them and measuring their performance
• Support — replying to inquiries we receive

3. Retention and deletion

• Google Analytics usage data is retained for the data retention period set by Google and then deleted automatically.
• Cloudflare access logs are retained and deleted according to that provider’s policy.
• For a test that stores data, its run and answer records and its report body may have different retention periods. Each period is shown before the test starts, and the data is deleted once that period ends.
• A test configured to email its report may discard the report body after sending it and keep only a record that it was sent, such as the time. In that case the body kept on our servers is retained for a shorter period.
• You may request access or deletion using the contact details in section 6.
• Information related to an inquiry is deleted once the inquiry has been handled and the purpose of replying has ended.
• Where applicable law requires a different retention period, that period applies.

4. Cookies and advertising disclosures

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising. While you are taking a test or viewing its result, however, we do not load analytics or advertising scripts, so your answers and result are never exposed to them. With respect to advertising, we disclose the following.

• Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads.
• Users may opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
• To prevent collection by Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly as a result.

5. Sharing and processors

This site does not sell your personal information. The following providers process information as needed to operate the service, each under its own privacy practices.

• Google LLC — analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense)
• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, CDN, data storage, and security
• Supabase, Inc. — the database that stores answers and reports for tests that store data (connected through Cloudflare)

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of information this site holds about you. Send requests to contact@prismtest.app; we will verify and respond within the period required by applicable law.

Where the law of your jurisdiction — such as the EEA, the United Kingdom, or California — grants additional rights, those rights apply as that law provides.

7. Children’s privacy

This site is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If we learn that such information has been collected, we delete it without delay.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the last updated date. Significant changes will be described clearly.
